This assistance is provided by the Caisse Primaire d'Assurance Maladie (CPAM) to pay for healthcare expenses. Depending on resources, complementary health insurance may cost nothing or less than 1 euro per day per person. It should be noted that this complementary health insurance can cover all the people in the household.

1 euro permit

Set up by the French government in partnership with lending institutions and driving schools, the 1 euro a day driving licence scheme is designed to help young people aged between 15 and 25 to pay for their driving licence training more easily. The total cost of the training does not change, but the financial institution advances the money and the government pays the interest.

This scheme is designed to help young people in the Val d'Oise realise their career plans. The aim is to facilitate access to employment by removing the obstacles encountered by young people during their Entry to Working Life (EVA). Youth Aid Fund (FAJ)

Financial assistance for young people aged between 18 and 25 who are having difficulty integrating into society and/or the workplace. Two forms of assistance are available:
- emergency assistance: a maximum of 120 euros allocated via approved local missions
- project assistance: 360 euros once in the calendar year, application examined by a social adviser and presented to the FAJ allocation committee.

A total of 100 bursaries are available to students from the Val d'Oise at CY Cergy Paris Université and associated institutions who can demonstrate an exemplary academic record (good attendance and commitment to their studies). At the beginning of March 2021, all the grants had been paid out.

Regional aid for digital equipment

To help bridge the digital divide, the Ile-de-France Region is giving grant-holders who have passed their baccalauréat in 2020 and are studying at university in the Ile-de-France region 100 euros to help them buy digital equipment. This assistance is in the form of a voucher sent to the beneficiaries.

Regional aid to prepare for the DAEU

Regional aid of up to €1,000 is available to people in the Ile-de-France region who do not have the baccalauréat and wish to resume their studies via a Diplôme d'Accès aux Etudes Universitaires (DAEU). This course has been set up by 12 universities and is co-financed by the Ile-de-France Region.

Student Emergency and Solidarity Fund (FUSE)

Financed by the Île-de-France region, this aid is intended for students in difficulty to meet their basic needs (food, health, accommodation) and ensure that they have good conditions for studying (digital tools, mobility, etc.).

Payment arrangements
- Individual assistance of between €300 and €600, renewable once during the 2022/2023 academic year.
- Regional aid can be combined with other individual grants
