Technological and technical objectives, to ensure the deployment of Digital Humanities projects
Scientific, epistemological and doctoral objectives, based on the above technological potential.
Since its inception, several projects specific to the IDHN have been carried out by a number of researchers, thus allowing the development of research directly rooted in the digital humanities. Links with institutions or companies are also developed, in order to contribute to the promotion of research within the framework of various collaborations.

Le projet scientifique est construit autour d’objectifs scientifiques, épistémologiques, et technologiques.
« construire » un hébergement commun des recherches à CY en Humanités Numériques (HN) Lettres-Sciences humaines et sociales (SHS) et leur donner une visibilité réelle ; permettre des synergies pour démultiplier les moyens d’actions par des réponses communes aux AAP internes (Fondation partenariale, Labex Patrima et sa Fondation…) et externes (SESAME, CoFund…)
développer les recherches en HN et en diffuser et valoriser les résultats ; imaginer de nouveaux projets et des recherches innovantes en interaction inter ou transdisciplinaire
accueillir et héberger le site et les recherches fédératrices du DIMé STCN
peser sur la politique doctorale par l’innovation en Lettres-SHS du côté du numérique
assurer une expertise en formation dans le domaine des HN et/ ou d’être un prestataire référent
intégrer des consortiums qui structurent les différents domaines en SHS en faisant monter en compétences les chercheurs en HN de CY dans leurs champs disciplinaires spécifiques.
Conçue dans son démarrage comme un incubateur autant qu’un accélérateur de projets, l’IDHN a déjà travaillé à des rapprochements scientifiques internes à l’université et les premiers échanges ont d’emblée mis en valeur les synergies possibles et la nécessité de travailler à une meilleure visibilité des Humanités numériques à CY.
