Microscopy & Analysis

CY Microscopy and Analysis is the imaging platform associated with the I-Mat federation. This platform provides research support to the CYU laboratories, particularly the laboratories: ERrmece, GEC, L2MGC and LPPI. Companies may access the techniques and expertise developed in this platform via services or collaborations. The diversity of its equipment allows it to cover a large number of fields of application.

Activities

Detail of services

The platform offers comprehensive and customised support to suit all needs:
  • Characterisation of materials: from preparation to acquisition of images and analyses, and including the drafting of an analysis report.
  • Expertise: Development of new analysis protocols and advanced interpretation of results
  • Courses: The platform offers tailor-made training in the fields of imaging and analysis. These training courses are open to the public (industrial or academic)

The platform offers possibilities for spectroscopic, thermal, (thermo)mechanical, electrical, magnetic, acoustic and petrophysical characterisations. These specific services are handled by the laboratories of the I-MAT Federation.
